Day 1: Exclusive Labelle Downs Cattle Station
Included Optional Depart Darwin at 7.00am. We follow the Stuart Highway via the township of Batchelor to Litchfield National Park. View Florence Falls from a high vantage point before continuing by road to Wangi Falls where you meet up with our Aboriginal guides for a fascinating 2 hour cultural experience. You will glean an amazing insight into the early history of the Litchfield area, the culture of the local indigenous people, including their food sources, art, language and customs. Enjoy a short bush tucker walk and a demonstration of a few of the hunting techniques. Stay at Wangi Falls for a picnic lunch and swim (subject to seasonal access) in the large crystal clear pool - with an optional steady climb through the rainforest to the top of the falls. From Wangi take the unsealed road towards Labelle Downs Cattle Station (a 100,000 hectare private ‘Territory Cattle Station’ that shares a boundary with the National Park) and the site of our exclusive remote camp, ‘Marindja’. On arrival enjoy some superb bird and wildlife viewing on Marindja Lagoon, a short distance from the camp, either on foot or by vehicle. Camp in our secluded site, overlooking vast floodplains and billabongs, filled with wallabies, prolific birdlife and the station’s cattle dotted across the landscape. Enjoy a delicious meal prepared in camp and after an evening reminiscing around the camp fire, bed down in our comfortable tents, complete with beds, sleeping bags and pillows.
Accommodation: Marindja, Labelle Downs Cattle Station, Litchfield National Park.

Day 2: Exclusive McCreddie’s Billabong
Enjoy a beautiful outback morning in the company of birds and wildlife. After an early breakfast in camp, we take a 2 hour boat cruise on McCreddie’s Billabong, rated Australia’s No. 1 Billabong (Australian Geographic Magazine, July 2007). You’ll have the opportunity to see and photograph some of the many freshwater and estuarine crocodiles (‘salties’) in the billabong, along with a myriad of birds, while learning about the different habitats that make up this fascinating ecosystem. After the cruise continue through the station to see the holding yards for the cattle. During the mustering season the facility can handle up to 3,000 head of cattle in a day. Make our way off the station and back to Litchfield National park towards Darwin along Cox Peninsula Road. Stop and view a magnificent stand of the unusual Magnetic Termite Mounds and have one last refreshing swim in one of the creeks before reaching Darwin at approximately 6.30pm.
