• The usually dry creek bed of the Todd River
• Downtown Alice Springs - the heart of the Red Centre

• The Old Courthouse
• Head West on Larapinta Drive alongside the coloured West MacDonnells
• Visit John Flynn Memorial at the foot of the Mt Gillen
• The remains of the twin ghost gums painted by Albert Namatjira
• Take a guided walk along the Angkale creek bed to Standley Chasm
• Standely Chasm - a striking deep red cleft that glows with reflected sunlight
• Look for black footed Rock Wallabies along the rocky base
• Take a guided walk into Simpsons Gap - rich ochre coloured rock walls arising from a sandy creek bed
• Look for eagles, kytes and falcons soaring in thermal currents above the West MacDonnells.
