DETAILED ITINERARY
Day 1 (LD): An early start from Darwin will have us in Katherine for lunch before heading west for the Victoria River and our first camp at Timber Creek.
Day 2 (BLD): Kununurra for fuel and supplies then on past Warmun (Turkey Creek) to our bush camp nearby.
Day 3 (BLD): Purnululu (Bungle Bungles) National Park. Visit Echidna Chasm and stay at Kurrajong Camp for two nights.
Day 4 (BLD): Beehive domes, Piccaninny Creek and Cathedral Gorge. A helicopter flight (optional) over this spectacular area is highly recommended.
Day 5 (BL): Halls Creek to our camp at Fitzroy Crossing. Geikie Gorge cruise (optional).
Day 6 (BL): Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge. Derby and the Prison Boab Tree then Broome. 16 Day Kimberley "Complete" passengers check in to Broome motel for two nights.
Day 7 (B): A day at leisure in Broome.
Day 8 (BLD): Leave Broome and head for the Gibb River Road crossing the King Leopold Ranges to our camp at Silent Grove.
Day 9 (BLD): Bushwalking and swimming at Bell and Galvans Gorges. On to Manning Gorge where we camp for two nights.
Day 10 (BLD): A full day to explore, swim, birdwatch and simply relax at beautiful Manning Gorge.
Day 11 (BLD): We leave the Gibb River Road heading for the remote Mitchell Plateau and our camp beside the picturesque King Edward River.
Day 12 (BLD): Spectacular Mitchell Falls. Scenic helicopter flight (optional) may be available. Return to King Edward River camp.
Day 13 (BLD): Fascinating Aboriginal "Wanjina" and "Bradshaw" rock. On to Miner's Pool on the Drysdale River to camp.
Day 14 (BL): Cockburn Range and the Pentecost River to camp at El Questro Wilderness Park.
Day 15 (BLD): Visit Zebedee (hot) Springs for a relaxing swim. Travel on to Kununurra, cross into the Northern Territory to our Victoria River camp.
Day 16 (BL): On to Katherine and Darwin.
