Off road Adventure Safaris is a small four wheel drive touring company based in Hervey Bay Queensland and operates small group charter trips throughout the northern reaches of Australia. From Brisbane to Cairns, across the gulf to Kakadu and Darwin as well as Katherine the Kimberly and Broome. They specialise in private charter & soft adventure touring with customised itineraries designed to suit the needs of individual travellers. The tours are tailored to meet any and all specific needs or special interests you may have.
With an Off road Adventure safaris charter you will have sole use of the vehicle and a client/guide ratio of 1:4 to this means that unlike most of the other larger tour groups operating in the north we are able to offer you a real hands on experience.
With our guides extensive outback touring experience and a small group size our staff will be able to put all of there knowledge and skills at your disposal. For naturalists, bird enthusiasts or photographers we are also able take you into a range of special out of the way places. For example if Aboriginal rock art is your passion we can take you to remote, occupation sites and shelters as well rock art galleries rarely seen by non aboriginal people.
Or if photography is your passion they will get you into the right place at the right time to take advantage of the magnificent sunsets and strangely beautiful stone formations that northern Australia is famous for. All tours utilise a variety of accommodation types ranging from Camping, Motels and Luxury resorts.
Just picture yourself watching a magnificent red sunset, dining under the stars or sitting around the camp fire thinking back over the past days adventures. Or waking up to an early morning sunrise over a beautiful mist shrouded billabong, listening to the breath taking chorus of water birds as they prepare for the day ahead.
