2 Day Kakadu Green Season Adventure
What a great time of year to be heading to the tropical north and watching the Top End go through its most spectacular change. The Top End has the most electrical activity in the world and at this time of year you can watch awesome lightning storms as they travel across the sky.
It is a time of plenty - the bush comes to life, floodplains begin to fill, vegetation turns lush green, the wildlife is active and the crowds have all gone. The rain also revitalises waterfalls that have been dry for 7 months creating new destinations to visit and places where you can swim.
Wilderness Adventure tours always visit the best destinations that are open during this time of year. All there tours involve plenty of hiking, swimming and exploring while aiming to get you "away from the crowds"
It is too wet and humid to camp with tents so between December and March all groups enjoy the luxury of staying at our permanent camp. Watch the storms rolling by from the comfort of a dry, mosquito proof bush camp then get a good night sleep in our private air-conditioned dormitory.
The tours provide you with great guides and all the necessary equipment to make your experience as comfortable as possible. They also ensure you leave Kakadu with great memories that will never be forgotten.
