What to expect

You'll be collected from your Darwin accommodation in an air-conditioned vehicle and driven to two visitor areas where you can get oriented before heading out on water. The boat cruise forms the heart of the day—you'll navigate shallow billabongs where crocodiles sun themselves on banks and waterfowl congregate in the reeds. The guide narrates what you're seeing, though wildlife spotting depends on time of year and water levels. Lunch breaks the day roughly in half. Expect heat, humidity and insects; bring protection.
