What to expect

You'll be collected from your Ayers Rock Resort hotel and driven to the helipad. After a safety briefing, you'll board with a small group and climb steadily away from the airstrip. The 25-minute flight circles both formations, allowing you to photograph Uluru from multiple angles and trace the Valley of the Winds through Kata Tjuta's gorges. The pilot points out geological features and cultural landmarks while you float above the red earth. Return to the resort follows the same route in reverse.
