What to expect
Your driver collects you from Darwin mid-morning and heads south into Litchfield. The day flows between water-based activity and terrestrial exploration. You'll board a flat-bottomed boat to watch saltwater crocs from safe distance, then cool off swimming in designated waterholes fed by seasonal falls. Between swims, you'll trek to see the distinctive magnetic and cathedral termite mounds—structures built to precise orientations by their architects. A picnic lunch breaks the day. As afternoon light softens, the group reconvenes for the finale: glasses of champagne and fresh prawns whilst the sun bleeds orange across the horizon.
