What to expect
You'll leave before dawn and spend three hours in the coach heading north. At Nitmiluk, a local guide leads you aboard for the two-gorge cruise, navigating between towering rock walls whilst learning about the landscape's Indigenous history and ecology. Between gorges, you'll walk across an uneven rocky section—no railings—to transfer boats. Good to know
In wet season, Edith Falls replaces the hot springs. The rock crossing between gorges has no handholds and isn't suitable for those with mobility limitations. Bring water and sun protection; the lookout walk is steep. Drinks aren't included. WiFi is available on the coach.
