What to expect

After hotel collection, you'll head to the rock for sunrise, eat breakfast, then receive Segway instruction and safety briefing. The main event is a guided ride around Uluru's perimeter—roughly 9.4 kilometres—moving at a leisurely pace with stops for interpretation. Your guide will discuss the land's significance to Anangu people, rock formations, and desert ecology. A walk to Mutitjulu waterhole breaks up the riding. Expect red dust, full sun exposure, and plenty of standing time during commentary stops.

Good to know

You'll need reasonable fitness and balance—the tour requires bicycle-riding capability. Weight range is 45–117kg; minimum age 12 (children need an adult). Not suitable if pregnant, or with serious spinal/vision issues. National park entry fee isn't covered. Bring sunscreen and water beyond what's provided.
